Here Is How It Works

Five one-hour classes. Four weeks of guided home reading. A complete KJV survey of the Bible — for a group or on your own.

1

Your Group Meets for Class

About one hour per class. The teacher leads from the Teacher's Guide — word-for-word scripts with timing cues. Students follow along in their Student Workbooks. Every scripture passage is printed in full. No one is lost looking up a verse.

2

Students Take Home the Weekly Guide

At the end of each class, every student receives the free take-home reading plan for that week — a four-page guide with daily commentary, reflection questions, and space for notes. Print them at home or from the free PDF download on this page.

3

Read Six Days a Week at Home

Each week's plan covers the Bible reading that corresponds to the next class. Budgeted at 35–40 minutes a day — most people finish faster. The commentary is short, warm, and in plain English. The reading is straight from the King James Bible.

4

Come Back Ready for the Next Class

Each class builds on what the student has been reading all week. The discussion questions draw out what they discovered. By Class Five, every student has read through the entire Bible — in order — and understands how it all fits together.

Class-by-Class Reading Schedule

  • Class 1 — Genesis 1–11 · Week 1 reading: Genesis 1 through Deuteronomy
  • Class 2 — Genesis 12 through the Historical Books · Week 2: Joshua through Proverbs
  • Class 3 — The Prophets & Daniel · Week 3: Isaiah through Malachi + Daniel
  • Class 4 — The Gospels & Acts · Week 4: Matthew through Acts
  • Class 5 — Romans through Revelation · Graduation ceremony closes the course

Who Leads the Class?

Any willing believer. The Teacher's Guide does all the preparation work for you — word-for-word scripts, margin timing cues, and leader notes for every discussion question. You bring the prayer and the love. The Guide brings everything else.

What Does It Cost to Run the Course?

One Teacher's Guide for the leader. One Student Workbook per student — available on Amazon. The four weekly reading guides are free downloads on this page — print as many as you need.

Most believers know Bible stories.
This book gives you the story.

The whole Bible — in order, with God's plan in plain view — in about twenty hours. Five one-hour classes and four weeks of guided home reading take you from the garden of Genesis to the city of Revelation, watching God's purpose unfold through the seven dispensations of Scripture.

Written in the warm, plain voice of a Baptist preacher teaching a friendly class. This is not a children's program and it is not a seminary course. Every classroom passage is printed in full — you never lose your place hunting for a verse. The daily readings are measured and budgeted so you can actually finish them.

The seven-dispensations framework is the key. Once a student understands that God has dealt with man differently in different ages — and why — the whole Bible opens up. Passages that seemed disconnected suddenly fit. The Old Testament illuminates the New. Prophecy makes sense. The plan of the ages becomes visible, and the Word of God becomes the most coherent book the student has ever read.

Five Classes. The Whole Bible. In Order.

Each class covers one great sweep of Scripture, shows where God's dispensations open and close, and gives every student a six-day home reading plan to go deeper all week.

Expulsion from Eden

Class One

In the Beginning

Creation, the Fall, the Flood, the Tower of Babel. God tests man in a perfect world — man fails three times in a row. The first eleven chapters of Genesis contain more world history than the rest of the Old Testament combined.

Dispensations 1–3 · Innocence · Conscience · Human Government
Israel at Mount Sinai

Class Two

The Nation of Promise

Abraham's call, the twelve patriarchs, Moses, and the giving of the Law at Sinai. God raises up a chosen nation and gives them the most detailed set of requirements He ever placed on man. The judges, the kings, David and Solomon.

Dispensations 4–5 begin · Promise · Law
Daniel's Great Image

Class Three

The Times of the Gentiles

The divided kingdom, the great prophets, the Babylonian captivity, and the return. Daniel's vision of the great image maps every Gentile world power from Nebuchadnezzar straight to the Second Coming — and shows exactly where we are today.

Dispensation 5 continues · Law — Prophets & Captivity
The Cross at Calvary

Class Four

The Cross & the Church

The four Gospels, the Cross, the Resurrection, and the book of Acts. The Law closes at Calvary — "It is finished." Grace opens at Pentecost. The early Church carries the gospel to every nation. The hinge on which all of history turns.

Dispensation 5 closes · Dispensation 6 opens · Grace
The Catching Up of the Church

Class Five

The Church & the Kingdom

The Epistles, the Rapture, the Tribulation, and the Millennial Kingdom. Christ returns. The dead in Christ rise. The saved are caught up. Satan is bound. Paradise is regained. The story that began in a garden ends in a holy city — forever.

Dispensations 6–7 · Grace · Kingdom

Eight Vintage Illustration Plates

Every dispensation close is marked in the Student Workbook with a full-page engraving drawn in the tradition of the great Victorian Bible illustrators. Eight plates, printed on their own page, one for each turning point in God's plan. They are yours to keep — in both the Student Workbook and the Teacher's Guide.

One Story. Seven Chapters.

From the Garden of Eden to the Millennial Kingdom, God's Word divides into seven distinct ages — each with its own test, its own failure, and its own judgment. Understanding these dispensations is the key to reading the whole Bible as one unified story. This course teaches all seven, in order, in plain English.

Dispensation 1

Innocence

Gen 1:28 – 3:6

Man in a perfect world, tested with one command. The test fails. Closes with the expulsion from the Garden.

The Test

Do not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Dispensation 2

Conscience

Gen 3:7 – 7:10

Man governed by his own conscience. Every imagination of his heart is evil continually. Closes with the Flood.

The Test

Do that which is right — follow your conscience toward God.

Dispensation 3

Human Government

Gen 8:15 – 11:9

God delegates authority to man to govern the earth. Man unites in rebellion at Babel. Closes with scattering of nations.

The Test

Fill the earth and govern it righteously in God's name.

Dispensation 4

Promise

Gen 12:1 – Ex 18:27

God calls Abraham and makes an unconditional covenant. A chosen people is born. Closes at Sinai with the Law given.

The Test

Stay in the land of promise and trust God's covenant.

Dispensation 5

Law

Ex 19:1 – Matt 27:51

God gives the Law at Sinai. No man keeps it perfectly. Closes at the Cross — "It is finished." Christ is the end of the Law.

The Test

Keep the whole Law of Moses — perfectly and completely.

Dispensation 6

Grace

Acts 2 – The Rapture

The Church Age — we are in it now. Salvation by grace through faith in the risen Christ. Closes at the Rapture.

The Test

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

Dispensation 7

Kingdom

Rev 20:1 – 20:6

Christ reigns on earth one thousand years. Satan is bound. Paradise is restored. The story that began in a garden ends in a holy city — forever.

The Test

Live under the direct reign of Christ on a restored earth.

Built on One Verse.
Aimed at a Lifetime.

Acts 542 Ministry exists because of a challenge God's Word put in C. B. Price's heart — to cease not. The same challenge it put in the hearts of those first believers who taught and preached Jesus Christ daily, in the temple and in every house.

C. B. Price is an ordained Independent Baptist minister with fifteen years in God's Word and eight published KJV scripture resources. Every resource published under this ministry is written for real believers who want the real Word — not watered down, not repackaged.

The 20-Hour Bible course is the most ambitious thing this ministry has ever built. It is a full chronological survey of the King James Bible — written for a Sunday school classroom, measured for a busy schedule, and illustrated with vintage engravings that bring the dispensations to life on the page. From Genesis to Revelation, in order, in about twenty hours.
